This article was completely unbiased. It simply stated what happened and the reasons for why it collapsed. The tone was not very clear one way or another it did explain what happened from a factual standpoint. It begins with immediately with making it clear of the first bodies pulled from the river. It then has a recap attached describing how the crash occurred. Although many of the bias hinting at potential liability of the contractors of the bridge, were all mostly quotes. You can infer that the article leaves room for the reader to assume that the bridge may have not been fully prepared structurally. The article discussed a fuel spill as well which in my own analysis means that there are alot of things that are being hidden, not particularly by this website and article but in the situation in general. The timeline is something that the article also included that cleared up alot of different questions. Including this I think is something that is important and as a reader I realize I can analyze and come up with my own theories after seeing clear time stamps. I think this media was to simply educate the public and acted as a means of clear statistical evidence of what happened. Rather than having much voice the factual article wished to enlighten readers of the situation and what is ongoing.

Blog #6- Time

4/10/2024 https://time.com/6965267/women-having-kids-later/ Source: Time  Analysis: Overall, this article did not have a strong voice leaning towards the right. The authors did a great job at including all aspects that may lead both women and men to prolong the parental approach and they also included many statistical evidence to back their points up. They even included statistics of people of color and their reasons for holding off on their ideal number of children. I do appreciate how the article lays down information and suggests that perhaps holding off on kids is a good thing and that studies suggest better behaved children. Using evidence of math and that childcare is expensive and many people’s decisions all boil down to money that people have. This article may have a left leaning voice due to the acknowledgement and appreciation of understanding cycles and reproductive advances to prolong fertility in women. This article has the voice of  George Solis and Marlene Lenthang while also including insider evidence from the wife of one of the construction workers. Similar to my last blog post it this article begins from a factual standpoint examining basic ideas. The wife mentions “we don’t know if they were warned before the impact.” This can be analyzed in many different ways, there was some time before impact and the cargo ship knowingly losing control. Traffic was warned not to enter the bridge but my thoughts are skeptical. Was someone not doing their job properly and could these 9 men perhaps had been rescued?
