What to expect as Donald Trump’s first criminal trail gets under way

Analysis: 

This article had ALOT of voice and even had a funny way to refer to the situation overall. Words like “a bit of farce” and “a shit sandwich” are used to describe whats been going on with the former president and the issues that are taking place within Mr.Trump’s office. I immediately knew this article was against Trump and the issues surrounding him when it says “captures Mr Trump at his tawdriest.” Focusing on how cheap and slimy Trump’s allegations are. The article describes in detail the pay off of pornstar Stormy Daniels and does not leave out details. If this article had a voice of a republican these details would be skimmed over and not acknowledged in the grand scheme of things. This article even describes Trump’s footmen finding stories and practicing “catch and kill” with these stories. The article also brings up another Playboy model that had an affair with Trump. The article does much more than just delivering information to the reader it gives details and even their own opinions. The article continues to not only paint Trump as a fool, but also his team and his lawyers saying that nothing is illegal about the hush money and it was paid to “protect his personal reputation and spare his wife embarrassment.” Regardless of the legality, the article acknowledging the excessive payments being made to shut people up seems to have a negative tone and distaste for Trump. “That Mr. Trump wanted his philandering kept quiet is neither surprising nor news.” I would assume this article to be a difficult read for anyone who was pro trump. Many people would read this article and immediately believe its illegitimacy due to the strong following that Trump has. A great article with a very strong voice, perhaps the strongest I have heard all semester.

Of course wars have been happening for years and years and ongoing enemies in the middle east has been brooding for years. Iran has targeted many other countries. Iran launched weapons into Israel after Biden sent a warning. This paints Biden and the United States as an empathetic country when in reality we as a country do insert ourselves into international issues. Statements from other groups urging Israel to be “cautious about its response” seems to paint Israel as a country that cannot control themselves and make their own decision...

Blog #6- Time

4/10/2024 https://time.com/6965267/women-having-kids-later/ Source: Time  Analysis: Overall, this article did not have a strong voice leaning towards the right. The authors did a great job at including all aspects that may lead both women and men to prolong the parental approach and they also included many statistical evidence to back their points up. They even included statistics of people of color and their reasons for holding off on their ideal number of children. I do appreciate how the article lays down information and suggests that perhaps holding off on kids is a good thing and that studies suggest better behaved children. Using evidence of math and that childcare is expensive and many people’s decisions all boil down to money that people have. This article may have a left leaning voice due to the acknowledgement and appreciation of understanding cycles and reproductive advances to prolong fertility in women.   3/28/2024 https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/wife-baltimore-bridge-collapse-survivor-says-workers-break-cars-bridge-rcna145465 NBC News  This article is another one that left me very surprised in regard to the recent bridge collapse in Baltimore. This article has the voice of  George Solis and Marlene Lenthang while also including insider evidence from the wife of one of the construction workers. Similar to my last blog post it this article begins from a factual standpoint examining basic ideas. The wife mentions “we don’t know if they were warned before the impact.” This can be analyzed in many different ways, there was some time before impact and the cargo ship knowingly losing control. Traffic was warned not to enter the bridge but my thoughts are skeptical. Was someone not doing their job properly and could these 9 men perhaps had been rescued? Something that is not officially stated but clearly implied was the mexican decent of these men who were repairing pothol...
